Welcome
Hello and welcome to Pleasant View Church. We would love you to join us for one of our worship services! To make your visit more comfortable, please review what to expect upon arrival and the different child services we offer.

Two services
Pleasant View has two Sunday morning services, one at 9:30 AM and another at 11 AM, located at 10384 Winterstown Road, Red Lion, PA 17356.

What should you expect?
Plan to arrive early.
We encourage you to arrive 10 to 15 minutes before the service starts. This will allow us to help you get to the various locations and find age-appropriate programming for each member of your family.
Dress casual
We encourage you to dress comfortably. We have a variety of dress styles, mostly casual. We care more about what you get out of the service than what you wear to it.
Uplifting music
Our worship music is a contemporary and encouraging celebration of what God has done and desires to do in our lives. For many, the worship experience has been a key factor that brought them back to the church.
Child services we offer.
Nursery
Our Nursery provides warm, nurturing, and well-supervised staff to care for your child during all our worship services. This includes an infant room, a toddler room, and a Mother's Room with a TV broadcasting the service for nursing mothers. All of our staff are certified with child safety clearances. If you need help, please stop at the Welcome Center, and they will direct you.

PURPOSE STATEMENT

Our purpose is to praise and honor God, share Christ’s love with others, nurture spiritual growth, and provide opportunities for service and fellowship.

PLEASANT VIEW’S CORE VALUES:

1. Passionate about God

2. Grounded in the Scriptures

3. Relevant to the culture

4. Committed to transformation

5. Filled with love

Definitions and Supporting Scripture:

(1) Passionate about God

God is supremely important to us, and we will glorify Him in everything we do.

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

1 Corinthians 10:31 (NIV)

(2) Grounded in the Scriptures

The Bible is especially valuable to us, and we will follow it in everything we do.

Everything in the Scriptures is God’s Word. All of it is useful for teaching and helping people and for correcting them and showing them how to live.

2 Timothy 3:16 (CEV)

(3) Relevant to the Culture

The culture is rapidly changing around us, and we will be sensitive to it in everything we do.

When I am with those who are oppressed, I share their oppression so that I might bring them to Christ. Yes, I try to find common ground with everyone so that I might bring them to Christ.

1 Corinthians 9:22 (NLT)

(4) Committed to Transformation

Life transformation through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is essential, and we will be committed to it in everything we do.

Do not copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will know what God wants you to do, and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect His will really is. Romans 12:2 (NLT)

(5) Filled with Love

Loving God and others is deeply meaningful for us, and we will be shaped by it in everything we do.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. Matthew 22:37-39 (NIV)
